Development Consent Order application accepted by Planning Inspectorate

The Development Consent Order (DCO) has now been submitted and accepted by the Planning Inspectorate (PINS). We are now in the Pre-Examination phase. It is expected that the Examination phase of the application will commence in August or September 2021 and last for six months.

After the Examination is complete, PINS has three months to make a recommendation about the project to the relevant Secretary of State. The Secretary of State then has three months to make the decision on whether the project will be granted consent.
