Development Consent Order (DCO) Application

The Development Consent Order (DCO) application for the Boston Alternative Energy Facility was submitted to the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) in late November 2020. Following early feedback from PINS, the Applicant (Alternative Use Boston Projects Ltd) made the decision to temporarily withdraw the application, on the basis of taking the opportunity to supply more supporting data for the application.

As this stage it is not unusual for PINS to request further information and so the Applicant is currently reviewing any points raised by PINS and amending the DCO application, with a view to resubmitting the application by the end of February 2021. Once the application has been submitted, PINS will have 28 days to review the application and accept it for examination.
