Examination commences for Boston Alternative Energy Facility

The Examination period for Boston Alternative Energy Facility commenced on Friday 8 October 2021 following Preliminary Meeting Part One and Part Two. It is expected to last up to six months (until March 2022), after which the Examining Authority has three months to make a recommendation to the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State then has three months to make the decision whether to grant consent for the project.
